Creation of IceSense
IceSense was created because I saw a gap in the development path that I had to navigate myself, and that so many players still face today. Growing up, I spent a lot of time and money on camps and training that didn’t actually make me better. They didn’t challenge how I thought the game, sharpen my decision-making, or help me understand why plays worked or didn’t. IceSense is my response to that.

I’ve lived the game. I’ve trained, competed, and pushed through the highs and lows of elite hockey. Through all of it, my passion for the sport has only grown. I love hockey, but more than that, I love helping players unlock their potential. IceSense is my way of giving back by building the kind of development experience I wish I had growing up.

If you keep training the same way you always have, you’ll keep getting the same results. And if you train exactly like everyone else, you’ll only be as good as the competition around you. IceSense is different. This isn’t just another camp or a list of drills. It’s a development system built around how the game is actually played.

We focus on hockey IQ, anticipation, decision-making, and confidence so players can play faster, think smarter, and adapt under pressure. IceSense is about purposeful training, real growth, and building players who can translate their skills into performance when it matters most.

If you’re ready to train with intention and separate yourself from the pack, you’re in the right place.
